ABOUT THE ROLE:

This is a rare, newly created opportunity to work alongside Halter’s phenomenal senior executives leading Halter’s Product and Engineering functions. The pace, technical complexity and cross-functional coordination make it challenging and interesting in the best way.

As our EA for Product, you’ll create clarity and leverage where hardware, software and product strategy intersect. You’ll bring structure to busy calendars, remove operational friction and ensure the right things get attention at the right time.

You’ll have broad exposure across Hardware Engineering, Platform, Firmware, Product Management and Design, embedded in the teams building technology that’s changing how farming works, not just orbiting them.

You’ll own the fundamentals of executive support and do them brilliantly: calendars, travel, meetings and relationships. But you’ll also go deeper, protecting focus, shaping priorities and keeping momentum high across teams shipping hardware and software to farms and ranches every week.

This role is ideal for someone who loves solving problems, is curious about how things get built and thrives when every day is different. We’re scaling incredibly fast, so you’ll need to be smart, adaptable and ready to jump in.

You won’t just manage diaries. You’ll influence how work flows, how decisions land and how our Product and Engineering leaders operate day to day.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

EXECUTIVE SUPPORT

• Own complex calendars across multiple time zones, protecting focus and resolving conflicts early.

• Coordinate domestic and international travel, from farm visits to manufacturing partner trips.

• Manage expenses, meeting briefs and inboxes with speed and accuracy.

• Prioritise requests, keep conversations moving and protect executive time.

PRODUCT AND ENGINEERING RHYTHM

• Keep key team rhythms running smoothly, from planning sessions and product reviews to all-hands and offsites.

• Coordinate events, offsites and regular farm and customer visits end to end.

• Track priorities, follow up on actions and unblock stalled decisions.

• Connect Product and Engineering with the wider business.

SYSTEMS AND IMPROVEMENT

• Own small projects from start to finish.

• Spot friction and build lightweight systems that simplify how work gets done.

• Solve problems from first principles and close every loop with clear ownership and deadlines.

You’ll also provide occasional personal support where it helps your executives perform at their best.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

You’re highly organised, comfortable operating in ambiguity and take pride in getting the fundamentals right. You’re a clear, confident communicator who feels at ease working with engineers, and you bring positive energy - sharp and professional, but always up for a laugh!

You’re hungry, resourceful and genuinely curious about engineering, hardware and how technology gets built. You’ll ask questions, sit in on demos and learn the product deeply enough to anticipate what your executives need.

• Have high judgement and low ego - you know what matters and push back when something's a bad use of time

• Stay calm under pressure - travel breaks, priorities shift, plans change, a firmware release slips

• Communicate like a weapon - concise, clear, fast

• Handle confidential matters with discretion - you'll be close to product roadmaps, supplier negotiations, and unreleased tech

• Are genuinely curious about how things work - you don't need to be an engineer, but you want to understand what the teams are building and why it matters
