What You Will Do

We seek a highly strategic, deeply organized Senior Project Manager to lead our complex, cross ‑ category innovation and commercialization initiatives. The ideal candidate brings advanced project leadership experience who does not only monitor progress and manage timelines, budgets, and risks, but also shaping project strategy, driving cross ‑ functional alignment, and anticipating challenges before they surface. As a Senior Project Manager, you will oversee and influence multiple high ‑ impact projects through the Stage ‑ Gate process, ensuring disciplined execution, stakeholder confidence, and consistent on ‑ time delivery across a fast ‑ moving innovation pipeline.

Responsibilities

Strategic Project Leadership

• Lead and influence cross ‑ functional teams through complex, innovation projects, overseeing multiple high ‑ move initiatives simultaneously while driving alignment, strategic prioritization, and timely decision ‑ making to ensure disciplined execution.

• Build strategic project frameworks, challenge assumptions, and proactively identify risks and bottlenecks before they impact timelines.

• Drive accountability across teams and elevate issues to leadership when needed to protect launch timing and quality.

Project Management Responsibilities

• Lead and influence high ‑ level, cross ‑ functional project meetings, driving clarity on updates, risks, decisions, and timelines while ensuring alignment across diverse teams and senior stakeholders.

• Design, refine, and lead the complex project timelines (Monday.com), driving strategic prioritization, anticipating timeline risks, and enabling cross ‑ functional teams to execute with clarity and precision.

• Oversee end ‑ to ‑ end project performance, using advanced documentation, risk modeling, and mitigation strategies to anticipate issues before they impact delivery.

• Drive accountability at all levels, ensuring cross ‑ functional partners meet commitments and escalating barriers early to protect launch timing and quality.

• Orchestrate cross ‑ functional collaboration, aligning teams around clear objectives, decision pathways, and commercialization requirements for high moving innovation projects.

• Manage project scope, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure successful on- time project delivery

• Coach, mentor, and elevate project managers and commercialization team members, strengthening Stage ‑ Gate discipline, operational rigor, and project management excellence across the organization.

Stage-Gate Process:

• Support projects through the stage gate process, assisting in ensuring adherence to defined gates and deliverables at each stage.

• Partner with the Innovation Director in preparing for gate reviews, including gathering necessary documentation, helping with presentations, taking detailed notes and supporting the documentation of the approval s .

• Collaborate with the Innovation Director to make sure the key stakeholders are aligned and facilitate decision-making at each gate.

• Provide training on stage gate and commercialization to new team members ​

• Implement robust post launch evaluations to capture learnings and drive continuous improvement.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Facilitate collaboration across product development, marketing, manufacturing, planning, inventory, fulfillment, BAT, sales, and finance.

• Promote clear communication and teamwork to manage interdependencies and address conflicts.

• Serve as the senior liaison between project teams and leadership, providing clear, concise updates on risks, opportunities, and strategic decisions.

Resource Management:

• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to secure the right resources at the right time for complex innovation projects.

• Prioritize work across teams to optimize efficiency and ensure critical path tasks stay on track

Continuous Improvement:

• Analyze project data to identify trends, productivity opportunities, and systemic improvements and apply key learnings to drive actionable insights that enhance productivity savings.

• Champion a culture of learning, cross training, and process optimization.

• Lead initiatives that strengthen commercialization discipline across the organization.

Who You Are

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

• 5-8 years experience as a Project Manager, preferably in the consumer-packaged goods (CPG) industry.

• Proven ability to lead complex, cross functional projects with high ambiguity and high visibility.

• Expert in project management methodologies, risk mitigation, and strategic prioritization.

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficient in using project management software and collaboration tools.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.

• Exceptional communicator with strong executive presence and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.

• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment by building relationships , driving alignment , fostering collaboration and driving results with diverse teams

• People manager experience preferred

• PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.

• Project managed in remote environment, preferred

Salary Range Opportunity:

• The salary range for this role is $140,000 - $150,000 + 20% annual bonus

Compensation Philosophy & Total Comp:

• Our salary ranges are based on verified market data and our philosophy of paying competitively for our size and industry.

• Individual pay rate decisions are based on several factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company.

• In addition to base salary, full-time team members receive medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401K 6% match, and monthly reimbursements for wellness and home office.
